Majid Ehsan

Majid Ehsan was born in Carte-say Kabul. Majid finished his secondary years at Ghazy-Addy and his high school at Habibya. Unfortunately he like many others at the Time had to leave his beloved country, family, life and home behind at an early age for India. Even then he tired to keep his dreams alive. Majid loved music from a very early age, in high school he was already playing Tabla, Harmonia, Accordion and Drums. From the age of 7 he was attending tabla and harmonia classes and was taught by best teachers. The first time he performed on a stage was at his secondary school Ghazy-Addy and from that moment on music became his life. At his short time in India he attended tabla and vocal classes. After 6 moths he had toleave again this time for Germany. In Germany he attended college and got his masters at technical engineering. Even though he was studying hard he still managed to keep in touch with his music and attended concerts that was organized by the Red-Cross International Community. After 5 years he took one more trip this time to Canada. It has been 10 years in Toronto, Canada. He has been working hard to accomplish his dreams which was shown at his first CD LOVE STORY 2001. He has shared stage with many great Afghani & Irani performers. His latest CD Sanam was produced and performed to met his funs approval which he hoped was accomplished. His most resent Album is Aroos released for music lovers.
