EDIT: Since we posted this video many people have suggested that Jack is overweight or that we feed him too many treats. The treats were ONLY given for training. His weight is due to him being on Prednisone for Puppy Strangles at the time this video was shot. He is not then or has ever been overfed. Jack is of the English Lab variety. As for his training we had him enrolled in "puppy school" and this taught us how to teach him. He is a quick learner and was often able to complete a trick after being shown a few times. As of now (March, 2009) Jack is almost 2 1/2 and is still a beloved member of our family. Thanks everyone for your comments and words of encouragement! We had no idea this would spread like it has, but I guess some of these feelings are universal (and international!). This was all in good fun and took us only a few days to do the filming and editing. If you are caught in a bad project, best of luck and hope you can turn it around soon! With so many designs available on the web, understanding how to read schematics can unlock a world of possibilities for the electronics maker. But for many people, drawing remains an activity best approached with a pen, pencil, brush, etc. With a bit of conductive foam and wire, it's surprisingly easy to make your own conductive stylus, suitable for use with iPhone, iPad and similar conductive touchscreen devices - and you'll likely find it a lot more precise compared to regular fingertip input. tags: Howto, ipad, iphone, stylus, touch, conductive, diy, how to, make magazine, capacitive, screen, touchscreen, how-to, ipod, ipod touch, instructions Stanford's Virtual Human Interaction Lab Stanford's newly renovated Virtual Human Interaction Lab was specifically designed for psychological experimentation in virtual worlds, says Associate Professor of Communication Jeremy Bailenson. "We integrate three virtual senses in a way that's very psychologically persuasive -- sight, sound and touch." The state-of-the-art lab also offers a glimpse of the near future in household entertainment. "We're using this cutting-edge lab to try to think ahead by a few years to predict what household technology is going to be like and how that's going to affect people," Bailenson said. Questions: If light can move at the speed of light because photons have no mass, then how come they can't go faster or, for that matter, escape a black hole? Why is there always just talk about going into outer space but never any action? What do you know about multiverses? Leave your questions in the comment section or ask it in a video response. Remember, the question with the most thumbs up will always be answered, no matter what! An expert will be back to answer 3 more of your questions. Thanks for watching!
