Media council files complaint against Classic FM
www.ntv.co.ke The Media Council of Kenya says it has lodged a formal complaint against Nairobi-based radio station Classic FM over alleged indecent content. The council made reference to a conversation on the Classic FM breakfast that it says contained explicit sexual language. The council says the content was inappropriate at that time of day. Classic FM now has fourteen days to respond to the complaints commission over the allegations.

Syrian body count casualty of media spin machine
In Syria, government forces are shelling several areas, including the flashpoint city of Homs. Damascus says it's conducting an anti-terror operation there, but activists are accusing the government of a massacre, and say hundreds of civilians have been killed over the past week. Syria's under a foreign media blackout, making the reality on the ground hard to confirm. And the opposition isn't making that any easier, as it argues over just how many people are being killed.
