Like any other area they are enthusiastically taking part in building their music industry. One way of doing this is by hosting public singing talent shows the one Caroline Joys wide accepted on recognition of Insta Afghans as the Americans Idol style Afghan Star locally called Sitar-E-Afghanistan which is aired by Tolo TV every Tuesday and Friday night. It has been conducted successfully for the last 4 years and no in its 4th episode. Held every year participants are selected by the judges from the different cities in the country and then top 5 are presented for the public voting. Now its top 7 have attracted both national and international attention. Afghans have finally go the chance to show case their talent on world stage through use of modern technology and free media flourishing in Afghanistan which is known for its conservative system and government.
