Afghanistan will face fresh challenges if its electoral law is not reviewed and revised by the Afghan parliament, the chief of Free and Fair Election Foundation for Afghanistan (FEFA) Jandad Spinghar said Tuesday. Spinghar said at a press conference in Kabul that the Afghan electoral law is very basic and that major amendments are needed to clarify the impartiality of the Election Commission Members, their area of authorisation, and professionalism. MCC opens cricket ground pitches in Ningarhar Afghanistan!
In April, Matthew Fleming headed to Afghanistan to open cricket pitches and spread the good name of MCC - and, indeed, the sport - among rural communities in the country. MCC has been working for long time now in Afghanistan to support and promote cricket in Afghanistan. They are giving equipments to Afghan players in schools and clubs. It was a triumph, and Leslie Knott - one of the film-makers following Afghanistan's national team - has put up a video of Fleming's tour.

Deliberatily wrong Afghan National Anthem played at Asian Games 2010 China - ملي سرود
At the Asian Games 2010 in China some Anti-Afghan elements who are agents of Iran, Russia and other countries deliberatily played a Farsi Song instead of our National Anthem. This shows disrespect to our national anthem and it goes against our constitution. It shows that there is no goverment in Afghanistan. Warlords, former racists, Anti-AFGHAN and criminals have hijacked Afghanistan. We want an immidiate action from Kabul goverment to punish everyone who has done this shamefull act. Sorry I forgot, We actually dont have any goverment! There is no HOPE from Mr. Karzai that he will take any action against these people, but should we just sit and let these people to overtake our culture, language and our Land? HINDU KUSH
The mountains of the Hindu Kush system diminish in height as they stretch westward: toward the middle, near Kabul, they extend from 4500 to 6000 meters (14700 feet to 19100 feet); in the west, they attain heights of 3500 to 4000 meters (11500 feet to 13000 feet). The average altitude of the Hindu Kush is 4500 meters (14700 feet). The Hindu Kush system stretches about 966 kilometres (600 miles) laterally, and its median north-south measurement is about 240 kilometres (150 miles). Only about 600 kilometres (370 miles) of the Hindu Kush system is called the Hindu Kush mountains. The rest of the system consists of numerous smaller mountain ranges including the Koh-e Baba, Salang, Koh-e Paghman, Spin Ghar (also called the eastern Safid Koh), Suleiman Range, Siah Koh, Koh-e Khwaja Mohammad and Selseleh-e Band-e Turkestan. The western Safid Koh, the Malmand, Chalap Dalan, Siah Band and Doshakh are commonly referred to as the Paropamise by western scholars, though that name has been slowly falling out of use over the last few decades.
