Iran attack video: UK embassy stormed in Tehran
Several dozen Iranian students have stormed the UK embassy in Tehran, chanting "death to England" and bringing down the British flag. Students clashed with riot police as they climbed over the embassy's gate, rushed into the building and started throwing documents from the windows. The latest terror attack bears the hallmark of a 2010 attack that killed Majid Shahriari, a university lecturer, in Tehran. Iranian scientist dies in Tehran car bombing
www.euronews.net An Iranian nuclear scientist has been killed after a bomb attack on his car in northern Tehran. State news agency Fars named the victim as 32-year-old Ahmadi Roshan, who worked at the Natanz enrichment facility. He was also a professor at Tehran's technical university. The attack happened early on Wednesday morning. Eyewitnesses said an unidentified motorcyclist placed a magnetic bomb on Roshan's vehicle before detonating the device.

The European Union and the United States have condemned an attack on the UK embassy in Iran. The EU Foreign Policy chief called the storming of the compound by protesters totally unacceptable. Iranian police used tear gas to break up the crowds at the site in Tehran, but some protesters managed to enter the compound several times. They said they were angry about the British government's decision to impose sanctions on Iran. Al Jazeera's Will Jordan reports.

Iranian media sources named the casualty as Mostafa Ahmadi-Roshan, an academic who also worked at the Natanz uranium enrichment facility. The blast happened when a motorcyclist stuck a magnetic bomb on the car, said Iran's semi-official Fars news agency. Several Iranian nuclear scientists have been assassinated in recent years, with Iran blaming Israel and the US. Both countries deny the accusations. Local sources said Wednesday's blast took place at a faculty of Iran's Allameh Tabatai university. Two others were reportedly also injured in the blast, which took place near Gol Nabi Street, in the north of the capital.

Tehran is the biggest and most important educational center of Iran. Today There are nearly 50 major colleges and universities in total in Greater Tehran. Since the establishment of Darolfonoon in the mid 1800s, Tehran has amassed a large number of institutions of higher education.
