Zallascht Sadat

Zallascht Sadat was officially crowned Miss Afghanistan 2008 in the Miss Afghanistan beauty pageant held by Afghan Models in Hamburg, Germany. Zallascht is the first official elected Miss Afghanistan since Zohra Yousuf Daoud was elected in 1972. She is currently working on her master's degree in business administration. She has created the Zallascht Sadat Foundation with the goal of preventing the spread of HIV in Afghanistan, for more information click here. Zallascht represented Afghanistan in the Miss Intercontinental 2009 pageant. Her name Zallascht means golden branch in Pashto.
